The hotel

Where is the hotel located?

The Pfalzblick Wald Spa Resort is located close to nature on the edge of the climatic health resort of Dahn in the middle of the romantic Wasgau region in the Palatinate, close to the Southern Wine Route and Alsace.

When can I check in and out?

Check-in: Your room is available for you from 3.00 pm. Early arrival on request.

Check-out: Please vacate your room by 11.30 am on the day of departure. Late check-out after 11.30 a.m. is possible by prior arrangement and will be charged separately.

Is there WLAN in the hotel?

Our WLAN is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Where can I park?

Parking spaces are available free of charge in front of the Hotel Pfalzblick.

Where can I charge my electric car?

We have two charging stations for electric cars in our parking lot P3. You can use these either via the"Pfalzwerke Charge" cell phone app or with the help of a card or key fob. Please check with your traction current provider whether you can use the charging station with your traction current contract. If you do not have a traction current contract, you can access the Pfalzwerke website using the QR code on the charging station. Here you can enter your credit card details for the one-off use of the transaction and then start the charging process. You can reach a 24-hour hotline on 0621 5852882.

What services are included in my stay?

You benefit from numerous included services during your vacation: Enjoy the feel-good board, relax in the wellness area and take part in the vacation program.

Rooms & suites

All our rooms and suites are non-smoking rooms/suites. You can choose between balcony and terrace rooms. Single rooms have a double bed, double rooms for single occupancy are available at an extra charge. Sky Bundesliga 1 can be received in all rooms and suites.

Room facilities: All rooms and suites have a shower, WC, telephone, radio alarm clock, flat-screen TV and WLAN as well as a minibar, room safe, hairdryer, a bath bag with sauna towels and terrycloth slippers and bathrobes. The individual amenities can be found in the room descriptions.

Families

We look forward to welcoming families. Our recommendation: the family suites with separate children's room or the family spa suite with additional whirlpool and private sauna. In our large garden paradise, our playground invites you to swing, slide, play table tennis and jump on the trampoline.

Children's prices: Children up to 5 years stay free of charge in the adults' room. For a baby crib we charge € 8,- per night. Children from 6 to 10 years (with 2 full-paying adults in the room) pay € 35,- per night, 11 to 16 year olds € 55,- per night.

Can I bring my dog with me?

Dogs are welcome in the room, but are not allowed in the restaurant or wellness area. We ask you to register in advance. We charge € 25.00 per pet and night (excluding food). Dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the hotel grounds and in the Palatinate Forest. You can use the signposted hiking trails above P3, directly outside the hotel grounds, to walk your dog.

Early booking advantage

Book your stay at least 90 days before your planned arrival and receive a € 10 discount per person per day. In connection with the "early booking advantage", a deposit of 25% is mandatory. The deposit will not be forfeited if you cancel or postpone your booking before the cancellation deadline.

Payment options: You can pay your hotel bill in cash or by bank card with PIN number. In the restaurant we also accept credit cards (Visa Card, Mastercard, American Express).

Guest contribution of the town of Dahn: The town of Dahn charges a guest contribution of € 1.50 per person per day.

 

Change in VAT: Compensation for additional or reduced VAT in the event of a change in the tax rate is excluded.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation policy: Bookings for a single room can be canceled free of charge up to the 7th day before the booked arrival date. Please note that longer deadlines apply for bookings over the turn of the year and for groups, which we will confirm to you in writing in individual cases. Cancellations or changes to bookings made at short notice (after the agreed cancellation date) may incur a cancellation fee of up to 70% of the price of the stay. Of course, the guest is at liberty to provide evidence of lesser damages. We offer our guests a further option for limiting the cancellation risk: If you pay a deposit of 25% of the agreed price of your stay no later than 10 days after making your reservation, we will not charge you any costs beyond this in the event of a last-minute cancellation (the date of the reservation confirmation and the date on which payment is received in our account are decisive). For bookings with "early booking advantage" the deposit is obligatory. Your deposit will not be forfeited if you cancel or postpone your booking before the cancellation deadline.

 

Goodwill rule for reservations with a deposit: If you have voluntarily or compulsorily paid your deposit of 25% by the deadline, we will grant you the option of postponing your reservation once to a new date as a special gesture of goodwill if you cancel at short notice (after the cancellation deadline). In this case, your deposit will not be forfeited. We only charge a rebooking fee of € 20.00. You have one week after the cancellation to make a binding reservation for the new date.

Travel cancellation insurance: To avoid unnecessary risks, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

For hotel guests: The feel-good board is included in the room rate. This includes:

• Rich gourmet breakfast from 7.30 am to 10.30 am
• Hearty snack from 12:00 to 15:00
• Sweet temptation with coffee, a variety of teas and cakes from 12.00 to 16.30
• From 6.00 p.m. a varied 4-course menu with a generous choice. Sign out from dinner: We will refund you € 10,- on the prices quoted if you cancel your dinner reservation at reception by 11.00 a.m. at the latest.
• Non-alcoholic refreshments (water, juices, soft drinks) throughout your stay.

• Water dispensers are available at the saunas, in the bathing bistro and in the fitness center.

For external guests: Guests who are not staying at the hotel can also visit our restaurant and use our à-la-carte service. As there is a limited number of tables available in the evening, table reservations are essential. The daily changing menu of the feel-good board offers you a small selection.

Wine & Bar

Wine cellar: With over 100 different wines - regional from the Palatinate and Alsace as well as international wines.

Vinothek: Wine tastings in our vinothek and wine sales at farm prices.

Hotel bar: The new hotel bar is located on level 6 directly at the entrance to the restaurant.
